Through 36 years of development, Jiangsu Huajia has turned from a countryside filature company into a integrate silk industry group incorporating picking mulberry leaves, sericiculture, filature, twisting, weaving, printing and dyeing, garment and export.
In order to make China’s traditional silk industry professional and strong with fine products, we have imposed great pressure on ourselves and finally explored a road to enhancing product added value through industry chain of high technology. We have established long-term cooperative relations with China’s Academy of Science in Beijing, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Soochow University to develop new techniques, technology, and products. We have adhered to the road of combining production, learning and research. Besides, we introduced advanced manufacturing, measurements and excellent talents for scientific research.
During the past years, Huajia Group has always regarded science and technology as the prime mover of enterprise development and self intellectual rights as its vital support for the development of the company. It gives priority to scientific research and development as well as the establishment of self-owned intellectual rights. In regards of investment on scientific research, the Group has set up a complete management system for research and development, and made it clear that annual invest on R & D should cover more than 3.5% of total sales revenue, which is rarely seen in silk industry.We have established cooperative relations with China’s Academy of Science in Beijing, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Soochow University for cooperative development of new craftsmanship, new technology and new product. We persist in the development way of uniting “manufacturing, academical and research” by introducing advanced equipment and highly-capable personnels from home and abroad.
Till now, Our technology innovation center of production, learning and research has provided staunch ground for new product R&D. The company has been in charge of a lot of projects, such as State Torch Plan Project, key new product plan project, scientific and technological project at provincial level, bidding project at municipal level and so on. Huajia Group has applied and obtained 10 state invention patents, 2 practical new-model patents, 10 appearance design patents, among which our invention patent “a method to increase natural silk fiber weight” won the top 10 excellent patents award in Suzhou in 2005.
